Frequently Asked Questions

Thirty questions candy factory buyers actually ask — covering machines and capacity, recipes, orders and payment, shipping documents, installation, after-sales support and halal compliance. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

01Machinery & Technical

Capacity, materials, utilities and configuration questions.

What candy products can your machines produce?

Across our three machine categories we cover nougat, swiss candy, milk candy, toffee, marshmallow, candy bar cores, gummy and licorice, starch jelly, bubble gum and hard candy — from the cooking stage through forming to final packaging.

What capacity range do you offer?

Single machines run from 100 kg/h up to 600 kg/h depending on model. Complete turnkey lines are engineered from 300 kg/h to 2 t/h. Final sizing depends on your product, batch cycle and how many shifts you intend to run.

Can one cooking pot make several different products?

Yes — this is the core advantage of the low-temp double vacuum aerating mixer. One pot covers nougat, toffee, marshmallow, swiss candy and candy bar cores, with recipe changeover typically under 30 minutes instead of hours.

What materials are the machines made from?

All product-contact surfaces are food-grade stainless steel — SUS304 as standard, SUS316L available for aggressive recipes or stricter hygiene requirements. Seals and gaskets are food-grade, and vessels are ground and passivated for cleanability.

What utilities do I need to prepare?

Electricity, and depending on configuration either steam, thermal oil or electric heating, plus water and compressed air. The exact pressures, flows and connection points are listed in the utility schedule supplied with your layout drawing.

Can you build machines to fit my available space?

Yes. Layout is part of our engineering scope — we size pot volume, cooling length and conveyor runs to your actual floor plan rather than forcing a catalog footprint into your building. Send us dimensions or a floor plan sketch with the inquiry.

Do you supply hard candy and sugar-free products equipment?

We build cooking and forming equipment suitable for both sugar and sugar-free recipes, including sugar-free nougat. Recipe behavior differs — we recommend a trial run with your specific sweetener system before finalizing the configuration.

What packing speed can your packaging machines reach?

Up to 800+ pieces per minute depending on product size, shape and film type. The three-servo system handles pillow packs, fold wrap and twist wrap, with bag length adjusted from the touchscreen instead of by mechanical gear change.

02Recipes & Trials

How we make sure the machine works with your formula, not just ours.

Can I test my own recipe before ordering?

Yes, and we recommend it. Send your formula and target product and we run it in our test kitchen, record the process on video, and ship finished samples to you by courier so you can evaluate texture, taste and appearance before committing to an order.

Will the machine work with my existing recipe unchanged?

Usually yes with parameter adjustments — temperature curve, vacuum level and whipping speed all influence the outcome. Where a recipe needs modification for continuous production, we tell you before the order rather than after delivery.

Do you help develop a new product?

We advise on process parameters and equipment capability, but we are equipment engineers rather than confectionery formulators. For complex new product development we can put you in touch with specialists and support the process trials.

How do you handle recipes with gelatin or pectin?

Both are supported. Gelatin and pectin systems require different temperature and holding conditions, which we account for in the cooking and depositing design. Tell us which system you use so the line is configured accordingly.

Can the machine produce different colors or center-filled products?

Two-color and center-filled configurations are available on the extrusion and forming side, using quick-change dies and separate feed paths. Discuss the product concept with us early so the layout allows for it.

03Order & Payment

Pricing, terms, currencies and lead times.

How do I get a quotation?

Send your product type, target capacity, available space, utility situation, budget range and destination port. You receive a configuration direction, machine list and quotation within 24 hours on business days; a detailed engineering proposal follows once requirements are firm.

What are your payment terms?

Our standard terms are 30% deposit with the order and 70% before shipment. Both T/T and L/C at sight are accepted. The exact structure is stated in the contract, and staged payment tied to project milestones can be discussed for larger turnkey lines.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There is no artificial MOQ — we supply single machines as well as complete lines. Buyers frequently start with one cooking pot, then expand into forming and packaging as their volume grows.

What is the lead time?

Single machines typically require 30–45 days; complete turnkey lines 60–90 days depending on configuration. These figures cover production and testing only — shipping time depends on the destination port and is quoted separately.

Which currency do you quote in?

Usually USD, with EUR and CNY available on request. Currency and exchange clauses for large projects are agreed in the contract to avoid disputes from rate movements between order and shipment.

Can I visit your factory before ordering?

We would rather you did. Factory visits and live machine trials with your own recipe can be arranged — send us your travel dates and we will plan the visit, including a trial run on the relevant machine while you are there.

04Shipping & Documents

Incoterms, packing, documentation and customs.

What shipping terms do you work on?

FOB as standard, with CIF, CFR and EXW available depending on your preference and how much of the logistics you want to handle yourself. Let us know your destination port and we will quote the appropriate term.

How are the machines packed for sea freight?

Sea-worthy export packing with moisture protection, and where required fumigation-free crating to meet destination import rules. Container loading is supervised by our team and photographed, so you can see exactly how the machines left our workshop.

What documents do you provide?

Packing list, commercial invoice, bill of lading or airway bill, certificate of origin and CE documentation. Third-party inspection reports from SGS or BV can be arranged at your request if your bank or customs authority requires them.

How long does shipping take?

Typical transit is around 20–35 days to Middle East and Southeast Asian ports, and 30–45 days to North Africa and South America, depending on routing and carrier schedule. Exact transit time is confirmed with the booking.

Who handles customs clearance at my end?

Import clearance is the buyer’s responsibility, as with any machinery import. We supply the complete document set and technical data your customs broker needs, and we can liaise with your forwarder directly to resolve questions quickly.

Can you ship to a landlocked country?

Yes. For landlocked destinations such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan or inland African markets we ship to a suitable port and arrange transit or DAP delivery as agreed — we will propose the most practical route with your forwarder.

05Installation & Training

Who comes, who pays, how long it takes and what you must prepare.

Do your engineers come to my factory to install the line?

Yes. Installation and commissioning are carried out by our own engineers on site, not by local agents. Most lines reach production-ready condition within about a week of arrival, depending on line size and site readiness.

Is operator training included?

Included. Operators and maintenance staff are trained hands-on during commissioning — parameters, changeover, cleaning, daily checks and basic troubleshooting. You receive a written parameter sheet and operation manuals as reference.

Who covers travel and accommodation costs for the engineers?

Round-trip international airfare is normally covered by the buyer, with local accommodation and transport; visa support and travel arrangements are handled by us. This is stated explicitly in the contract so there are no surprises later.

What do I need to prepare before the engineers arrive?

Foundation and level floor per the drawing, utilities live at the machine terminals, local rigging and helper labour for unloading and positioning, and raw materials ready for trial batches. Buyers who prepare these points typically save a week of commissioning time.

Do your engineers speak English?

Our commissioning engineers work in English. If your team is more comfortable in another language, an interpreter on site is helpful for training depth — many customers arrange one, and we can provide technical documentation in simple English for reference.

How long does commissioning take?

Mechanical and electrical installation plus cold commissioning usually takes 3–7 days for a single machine, and roughly 1–2 weeks for a full line. Trial production and training add a further 2–4 days depending on the number of recipes.

06After-Sales & Spare Parts

Warranty, response times and long-term support.

What warranty do you offer?

12 months on mechanical and electrical components from the commissioning date, covering manufacturing defects. Wear parts such as seals and belts are excluded, and the warranty terms are written into the contract rather than left verbal.

How fast do you respond to technical problems?

Within 24 hours on business days, by engineers rather than sales staff. Most control and electrical issues are resolved remotely over a video call while your operator stands at the machine.

Can I still get spare parts in five years?

Yes — lifetime spare-parts availability is a commitment we can make precisely because we manufacture the machines ourselves rather than reselling them. Seals, motors, servo drives and forming dies remain obtainable from our production and inventory.

What if a part fails after the warranty expires?

You purchase the replacement part at standard price and we provide installation guidance by video or documentation. For critical failures we can dispatch an engineer on site if you prefer, quoted case by case.

Can you help when I expand capacity later?

Yes, and it is worth planning early. We design expansion paths — for example from 300 kg/h to 1,000 kg/h — so that the equipment you buy now stays in the line instead of being scrapped when you scale up.

Do you help with recipes and process problems later on?

Process support continues after handover. If you want to add a new product to an existing pot or a texture issue appears after a supplier changes an ingredient, our engineers advise on temperature, vacuum and whipping parameters.

Do you offer maintenance contracts or annual service visits?

Annual service visits and preventive maintenance agreements can be arranged for customers running multi-shift production, covering inspection, calibration and wear-part replacement planning. Ask for a quotation alongside your machine order.

07Halal & Compliance

Certification, hygiene standards and local regulations.

Is your equipment suitable for halal production?

Yes. Machines are built from food-grade stainless steel with hygienic design and no cross-contamination traps, and they are suited to halal gelatin and non-gelatin recipes. This matters particularly for buyers in Turkey, the Gulf, Southeast Asia and North Africa.

Can you provide halal certification for the machine itself?

We build to halal-compatible standards and can support certification processes carried out by your local halal authority, which is normally the body your customers recognise. Discuss your specific authority’s requirement with us at inquiry stage.

What certifications do the machines carry?

CE marking with declaration and technical file, and production under an ISO 9001 quality system. Documents are supplied with shipment and are available for review during your due diligence before ordering.

Do the machines meet food safety and hygiene standards?

Hygienic design principles are applied throughout: food-grade contact materials, ground and passivated welds, no exposed threads in product zones, drainage designed for cleaning, and easy access for washdown. We can supply material certificates on request.

Will your equipment comply with regulations in my country?

We supply CE documentation and technical files which satisfy most markets. Some countries require additional local conformity assessment or registration for imported machinery — tell us your destination and we will identify what is needed before the order is placed.
